“占中”已发生2月有余，4个占领区中，除了最先草草收场的尖沙咀和日前被清障的旺角占领区，还剩金钟和铜锣湾2个。旺角弥敦道一带的马路在近日重新开通后，行车基本正常。但被清障后的示威者仍不罢休，发展出到旺角“购物”以及“过马路”的新示威方式。昨晚（27日），逾100人重新返回旺角示威，一度引发警员到现场维持秩序。期间有人被警方带走，包括《苹果日报》一名摄影记者。当晚，刚刚获得保释的黄之锋在金钟登台讲话，煽动“占中”者继续留守。
昨天入夜后，在旺角豉油街及西洋菜南街一带，有大批声称前来购物的人士聚集，警方随即派出大批警员，带备盾牌等在场戒备，并筑起人墙，将他们赶回行人路。期间，《苹果日报》一名摄影记者涉嫌袭警，被警员扣上手铐带走。
约凌晨3点，这名叫王俊龙的记者获准以1000元自签保释，12月底他还将返回警局报到。
至今晨7时，人潮已经散去，仅剩约10名示威者留守，有人席地而坐，亦有人在路旁睡觉，警员在不同路口布防驻守。
在剩下的两个占领区中，金钟方面，示威者主要集中在夏悫道一带。示威者和警员均相安无事，气氛明显没有旺角般剑拔弩张。
至于留守人数最少的铜锣湾，10多名留守者仍在睡梦中，两个月以来，3个占领区帐篷数目以铜锣湾的变化最少，一直维持在40余个。现场所见，10多名警察在占领区附近巡逻，气氛冷清。
据观察者网此前报道，“学民思潮”召集人黄之锋于昨日交纳500元港币后获准保释。当晚，被禁足旺角的黄之锋来到金钟占领区上台发言。他称接下来三天将交代“占中”未来方向，并称会留守到最后一刻。黄之锋称下一步行动矛头一定会指向港府，他还批评特首梁振英一方面叫市民到旺角消费，一方面却不让人群到旺角聚集，是自相矛盾。
黄之锋还鼓动示威者继续留守最后两个占领区，并再次要求港府重启政改。
